ABERFFRAW FAIL TO FIND THE NET AGAIN

IN GOAL-LESS DRAW WITH TREARDDUR BAY RESERVES

Aberffraw , looking for a win that would take them into third place, had inform Trearddur Bay Reserves, unbeaten in their last six league games, as their visitors, and with Beffro’ having fired blanks in their last two games a close game was expected and so it proved.
Defences were on top throughout most of the game, and so chances were few and far between, the best opportunities came from free-kicks but the two keepers were also in fine form as was Darren Rowlands who was the pick of the outfield players.
Ninety minutes ended without a goal and leaves Aberffraw in fifth place but they will be looking to their `strike force’ to regain their form before the League cups come round IF they are to make the final of the KONX WALES Dargie Cup final for a third successive season and make it third time lucky and lift the trophy.
