TITLE DECIDER TOMORROW AT HOLYHEAD

By McCann Dave

AS TENSION MOUNTS

TITLE TENSION MOUNTS as the `title decider ‘is just a day away. The Kon-X Wales Anglesey Football League kicked off in August and after all that has gone before the good, the bad the indifferent, it all comes down to the ninety minutes on Friday. Never mind the cups won, tomorrow is the big one, Managers, Craig Brodie and Vince Walker would I’m sure `trade in’ the cups won for victory tomorrow and the League TITLE and the Promotion that goes with it.
All the football talk on the Island is about this game.....well almost all, as I walked passed a pub, there were a group of lads having a smoke and they were talking about the `big one’ and being nosey I tried to eaves drop and I heard one lad say “the Blues are at home and with the strike power they have I’m positive they will win. When I butted in and said don’t you think Llangoed have as good a chance, I was quickly reminded that there are other games where clubs are fighting for a top four place.
But forget the others get down to Holyhead Town F.C. on Friday 28th and see Holyhead Town v Llangoed & District, the Champions and Runners-up, which ones are which the ninety minutes will tell.
Kick – off is 6:30 and there is no truth in the rumour that the Holyhead to Dublin sailings are all put back 90 minutes.
Best of luck to both teams, hope it’s an injury free game with all the players playing to their best ability and mat the most deserving team win.
