Whilst Llangoed and District were lifting the first silverware of the season, Holyhead Town were looking to bag three points in pursuit of the `big one’ , the Kon X Wales Anglesey League Championship, and the promotion that goes with it to the Gwynedd League.

Prior to kick-off of their fixture at Bethesda, Town in third place had 23 points with five to play, second placed Bryngwran Bulls, in their first season, had 24 points with two to play, whilst long term leaders Llangoed had 28 points with three to play. Holyhead did what they had to do picking up three priceless points, thanks to free scoring hit-men, Tom Hadley and Tom Roberts, adding to a Leroy Parry strike. Bethesda Reserves never gave up and Tom Ines scored a consolation goal for the hosts.

Second placed, Bryngwran Bulls made sure Holyhead did not make ground up on them by claiming three points themselves by virtue a of a nap hand, five nil victory over Bodorgan juniors, with goals from, John Jones, Matty Roberts, Dylan Jones and a James Ryan double.

Fourth placed Mynydd LLandegai Reserves were engaged in a seven goal thriller against visitors Pentraeth Reserves and claiming three points by the odd goal Finding the net for the hosts were Liam Owen twice, ALun Griffiths and Tom Williams. Replying for Pentraeth were Matty Morris, CAI Shodamere, and Guto Ivan
