LLANFAIRPWLL WIN SEES THEM IN FOURTH PLACE

AS MANAGER,WALKER, SCORES IN HIS FIRST GAME

Llanfairpwll Reserves lie just behind in fourth position following success against visitors Amlwch Town Reserves by the odd goal in three. Faced with a number of injuries, Llan ‘ Manager, VINNEY WALKER pulled on a shirt and took to the field and set the perfect example when he grabbed the opener after just fifteen minutes. A speculative shot crashed against the upright and first on the scene was Manager WALKER to thump it home from close range .[No Vinney, it wasn’t 20 yards out] The game evened itself out somewhat as Amlwch got back into the game more. The Town were level when Sion Thomas scored with a snap shot, and they looked to be heading for a share of the points until twelve minutes from the end when Caerwyn Roberts took a cross on his chest, chested it down and finished in style with what proved to be the winner.
