FOUR MORE FOR MORRIS

AS LLANFAIRPWLL HAVE ONE OVER THE EIGHT

REPORT WITH THANKS TO Mr ROBERT GRIFFITHS :-

The Juniors travelled to Llanfair Reserves to open the Car Boot Cup fixtures this cup based on a two league set up with the winners of both leagues playing a final.

Llanfairpwll, who have been scoring for fun in recent games, opened the scoring with Steve Tindall finding the net from a corner[6 min's]. The Juniors held firm until the 18 minute when Llan' were awarded a penalty which SHAUN MORRIS tucked away for 2 v 0. Morris was soon back on target as he pounced on a defensive blunder on 21 minutes. Seven minutes later Mark Williams scored, and as the Juniors tried to get a foothold in the game, pressing at every opportunity, they left themselves open to the counter attack and Llanfair missed a raft of chances and the agility and ability of keeper Murphy was the Juniors saviour on numerous occasions. Half Time 4 v 0.

The second half saw Llanfair attacking down the flanks and from a corner Charlton hit a rasping shot into the roof of the net[58]. Llanfair were then given a soft penalty which Morris converted on 63 minutes. Greg Parry came on as substitute and had an immediate effect scoring from close range on 70 minutes. Llanfair were far from finished and prompted by Mark Williams they surged forward to score as Steve Tindall passed to Richard Roberts to score [75] The Juniors tried to rally and didn't give up but Shaun Morris completed the scoring on 84 minutes.

Morris scoring four for the second occasion has now hit 14 goals in 6 games and he certainly looks to be the league's sharp shooter at present.

MR GRIFFITHS ASKED THAT THE LEAGUE CONVEY THE SINCERE BEST WISHES OF ALL ASSOCIATED WITH BODORGAN JUNIORS FC TO RHYS GRIFFITHS THE LLANFAIRFECHAN PLAYER ON HIS `OP' TODAY.
