Saturday saw the KWAFL clubs concentrating on Prestigious LUCAS OIL DARGIE CUP, and. It rained goals, the four ties producing a total of twenty four goals League leaders, Llangoed and District travelled to Bethesda for their first round tie, in a game of six goals, Caerwyn Williams and Craig Jones both enjoying a double in Llangoed’s 4 v 2 win. Carl Pritchard and Liam Hughes replying for the hosts.
Valley also featured in six goals at Bryngwran. Enjoying a good run, they have added consistency to their game and set off to Bryngwran with an air of confidence despite being fully aware of the Bulls quality. They opened the scoring, when a cross from the right found Danny Roberts positioned just inside the box and controlling the ball as he swivelled, all in one sweet moment, to slot his shot into the bottom corner, 1-0 valley Ht.
In the second half Bulls made it 1-1 with Nathan Lewis tapping in from 2 yards following good work from James Ryan. Valley went in front again after the Bulls failed to clear a cross and Nathan Croft scored on the turn from inside the 6 yard box. But back again came the Bulls l with Iolo Jones scoring from the edge of the area. Valley again took the lead with Glen North scoring with his head from a corner and they sealed the win with Jerome Silence scoring from inside the 6 yard box.

EXTRA-TIME EXIT FOR BATTLING BODRGAN JUNIORS
Bodorgan featured in an eight goal thriller that need extra-time to separate their visitors Mynydd LLandegai…A torrent of rain on Friday evening followed by Saturday sun ,made Cae Cob pitch all the better for it and the visitors immediately went on the attack gaining early corners but the Juniors on 15 minutes broke out of defence and from a quick breakaway Marcus Rowlands raced onto Aaron Jones's through ball and nipped it off the oncoming Mynydd keeper David Ball and neatly slotted it home. Mynydd then pressed and gained a spate of corners and on two occasions came close as Liam Owen headed over and Mike Williams did likewise..On 21 minutes Tom Griffiths bundled the ball into the juniors net from a corner. On 29 minutes Mynydd took the lead as neat play saw Mike Holroyd score from close in. The juniors attacked and Aaron Jones thundered a shot at the Mynydd goal which keeper Ball saved well and as the half closed Luke Allaway went close bur Ball again was up to the task. Half Time 1v2. The juniors started the second half brightly and Marcus Rowlands again ran onto an Aaron Jones pass and scored on 47 minutes. Mynydd went up field and after a neat move Tom Griffiths struck a cross shot home. Both teams then created chances with Rowlands for the juniors going close and Josh Roberts saving well from Holroyd with a diving save. On 80 minutes the juniors equalised as Elliot Patterson picked up the ball in midfield and after a run fired a tremendous shot from 25 yards into the net. Mynydd then went close as Richard Hayes fired a scorching drive at Josh Roberts in the home goal who saved well. On 88 minutes the juniors set up a neat move as Patterson fed Jordan Williams who in turn fed Marcus Rowlands who fired a fierce shot which keeper Ball saved well the ball rebounding to Rowlands who fired in again but Ball was on hand to save well, it was nearly a glorious last gasp effort. Full Time 3v3.So onto extra time which saw both teams trying to gain the all important winner .Mynydd's Colin Ball was outstanding all afternoon and gave Richard Hayes the opportunity to create chances for Mynydd as the Juniors ran out of steam .From a corner on 95 minutes Hayes latched onto a clearance and from 25 yards fired home a great volley..The Juniors kept going and kept their shape well and fired in shots at the Mynydd goal but the tie was settled on 97 minutes as Mike Williams fired in a long range free kick which bounced awkwardly over the home keeper. To their credit the Juniors kept going in the second period of extra time but couldn't create clear-cut chances while Mynydd kept the ball well to kill the tie. Both teams were a credit to the league as they served up a tremendous game with eight goals in all and lots of good football played
Holyhead Town were another side to score four goals, but they ensured they did not concede any to visitors Pentraeth Res. Luke Flemming struck twice, the first on twelve minutes from a Leroy Parry cross. Three minutes later Parry turned scorer, with captain Tom Roberts the provider, heading down outside the box for Leroy parry to hit home on tight angle 2-0
Following some excellent work from Luke Fleming, battling for the ball before squaring across goal for Tom Hadley to tap in 3-0. It was fitting that Man of the match Luke Fleming scored the fourth, by taking the ball round 3 players to rifle home from outside the box 4-0
