League:-

Whilst others were involved in cup ties, Mynydd Llandegai Reserves quietly continue their climb up the table and now occupy fourth place, one point behind Valley. They certainly used their heads in their game against Bethesda Reserves. They took the lead on twelve minutes, Mike Holroyd heading home from a deep cross but conceded a penalty y which Eifion Roberts converted. Mynydd were awarded a free-kick and Alex Griffiths power drive found the back of the net to see them lead 2-1 at the break.
The second period was much more competitive and the next goal did not arrive until after the hour mark, and it was Liam Owen – last week’s hat-trick hero, heading the third to give them breathing space. David Anthony Jones headed the fourth and with a minute left on the clock Liam Owen headed his second and Mynydd’s fifth.
