ROUND-UP -
There will be new holders of the KonX Wales Dargie Cup with last season’s winners, Llanerchymedd having been promoted, and two of these seasons’ favourites were both involved in today’s two ties.Morawelon entertained Cemaes Bay who were fresh from winning their first game last Saturday and Pentraeth who had the more difficult task ties having to travel to inform Newborough and so it proved

Dale hitting 8, Jordon 2, Sion and Mikey one apiece. The others came from Barry Haigh [4] Gary Jo’ Owen [4] Ricky Lavelle [2], Ryan Roberts and Harri Chandler. Bay’s consolation goal came from Lewis Connor.
Pentraeth hit five, twice taking the lead only for Newbwch to pull it back each time. Tom Taylor claimed both whilst Dafydd Harries and Nathan Moore struck equalizers. It was only on the hour mark that Pentraeth regained their lead thanks to Gareth Roberts, and with two goals in five minutes, Taylor with his hat-trick [70] and Gareth Roberts [72] made sure of a place in round two. Roberts scored his 50th goal for the club and both he and Taylor had penalties saved by keeper Peter Rogerson
