THE FINAL TWO LEAGUE GAMES 2/5/15 SAW IT RAIN

GOALS GALORE ON THE FINAL DAY, NINETEEN GOALS IN JUST TWO GAMES.

The final two games in the KonX Wales Anglesey lEAGUE, got underway on Saturday with Bro Goronwy and Cemaes Bay battling it out for the runners-up spot. With Cemaes Bay on 28 points and Bro Goronwy on 27, Bro had to have a `better result’ [irrespective of the score] than Cemaes.

Not an easy task with Bro entertaining the Champions Valley. The task became even more difficult when Jerome Silence put Valley ahead after just three minutes of the kick-off, but a determined Bro fought back to level and build up a 3-1 lead, only for Casey Boylan to pull it back to 3-2. As the break arrived the host had added a fourth to lead 4-2.

Valley came out for the second period looking for goals..... ............... and they certainly SAW them, SEVEN more in fact, but ALL sailing into their own net scored by Bro to register an amazing 11-2 victory over the Champions. Ryan Jones hit his second hat-trick in a week, Andrew Williams and Connor Jones both enjoyed doubles whilst Andrew Swindells, Sam Regan, Piers Dudley, and Taylor Jones each netted one apiece.
SO Bro were on a high ........

UNTIL ......... the result filtered through from Llangefni where Cemaes registered five goals to the one scored by Llangefni leaving them as RUNNERS-UP and Bro, leaders almost all of the season have to contend themselves with third.
