Holyhead Town F.C who, rejoined the Kon-X Wales Anglesey League this season, are currently second in the league table, three points behind Llangoed but with two games in hand, and in all five cup competitions. On that basis, the club look destined for a successful season ON the field. THANKS to TESCO, and Towns hard working committee they look set for success OFF the field as well. They have been accepted by TESCO for their` Bags for Help’ scheme which starts soon and are guaranteed £8000. However, £12000 is being offered for 1st place and Town will be striving to take first place and significantly boost club funds. Spokesperson for Holyhead, Nick Murphy said...” we are extremely grateful to TESCO for helping us and in return we as a club will look to help them whenever we can as a club or individuals".
