TREARDDUR BAY BOOK NWCFA JUNIOR CUP

By McCann Dave

SEMI FINAL PLACE

In the NWCFA Junior Cup QF, Trearddur Bay United Reserves were convincing winners at Llanfairpwll and now join Gaerwen Reserves in the semi-final stage.

Trearddur were out of the starting blocks in a flash, Luke Miles had them in front after just three minutes but there was no goal rush to follow as Llanfair battled through to half-time still trailllng to the single strike.

The Bay enjoyed a lightening strike to the second half, Gwion Owen finding the net after just one minute. That stunned the hosts and there was never going to be a way back for them as Trearddur went on to add two more, through John Jones [55] and George Hibbert on the hour mark.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TREARDDUR BAY as well; as to GAERWEN
