TREARDDUR BAY RESERVES MAINTAIN IMPROVED RUN

By McCann Dave

WITH VICTORY OVER LLANGOED & DISTRICT

Trearddur Bay United Reserves entertained Llangoed & District and with both sides in recent good form an interesting tussle was expected. In truth the game never reached its full potential as the visitors again showed their inconsistency, and the hosts never reached the heights of recent performances.
Trearddur probably deserved the points which were won with yet another Mike Williams goal. The goal came at a time when the hosts were pressing but a quick break found Williams who broke clear to drive the ball home. This signalled an all out assault on the home goal but Llan’ had left it too late and left to rue their inability to maintain excellent performances in successive games.
