ABERFFRAW FALL AT FELIN'

The second period saw the hosts going for the `kill’ and won four successive corners. Gerallt Roberts palmed away the first and even as he fell to the ground Daniel Hughes was blasting the ball back to goal and Roberts managed to block it at the expense of another corner. This time Roberts punched clear and a defender deflected the follow up shot. Twice more corners were blocked before the visitors were able to get a hold of the ball and press forward themselves. In doing so they were leaving themselves exposed at the back ,and one long clearance up field by the home keeper saw Roberts run out to kick the ball clear but it hit the on rushing forward to bounce inches past the upright. As the game wore on there was no denying the home front men and Daniel Hughes rounded of an fine performance with the second and gave Felin’ a deserved win and no doubt one or two left in the competition will be looking to avoid them. the ball to him
