Holders Eliminated

Holders Valley we're eliminated from the Elias cup by local rivals Bryngwran bulls.
The game started of evenly, with the wind taking much control over what either side tried. Valley we're against the wind and we're often unable to create the killer ball to the strikers. Many times Bryngwran broke and got the ball into the box but keeper justin hughes was confident and collected any ball entering his box. Valleys only chances of the 1st half came from 2 free kicks, first mark hamblin was on target only for the bulls keeper Roy Sayle to collect comfortably and then jordie lees, who hit one over the bar.
Bryngwrans chances came direct from corners, one whipped in and narrowly missing the post, and then again from the right hand side only for the ball to be deflected onto the post and cleared away.
HT 0-0
The second half was a bit more entertaining,
On 51 minutes valley finally broke, justin williams who had been running at the full back numerous times finally made it count and after beating 2 men layed it off to winger marc Wilson who ended a 5 game goal drought with a left foot finish past Roy Sayle.
Valleys celebrations were short tho as soon after.. a quick double saw then 2-1 down. Wilson linked well with nik kontodious on the left and after beating one man squared to mike williams who hit his shot straight to Roy Sayle.
Again the bulls pressed and again they bagged another 2 quick goals to make the final score 4-1.
