Trearddur Bay Utd., Res., a point behind Cefni in fifth place, can not win the title even if they win all their remaimng games. They have five games left and they too have games to play against sides in the top three, which makes them a danger to those going for the title.
Last Saturday they played hosts to a Llanfairpwll Reserves side that has no chance of the title but they treated them no differently, and certainly caught them cold after their journey.
First by winning the toss and opting to play with the wind, which proved to be the right choice when, with just five minutes on the clock, they took a fifth minute lead,Jordan Jones with `a cross - cum shot’ that caught the wind to nestle in the net. Two minutes later they were two down, Jordan Jones again finding the net and when the third went in thirteen minutes later it was Jordan Jones rounding off a hat-trick in just twenty minutes.
With the wind to their advantage in the second period, Llanfairpwll enjoyed more of the play and did pull one back through Oliver Zalot, and also hit the wood-work but failed to find the net again, and it was the Bay who netted again to wrap the game up and the points as well.
