AFTER CONVINCING VICTORY AT SECOND PLACED LLANFAIRPWLL

Bro have led the league all season and there was no way they were going to let it slip this time around, needing only to avoid defeat at second placed Llanfairpwll they had no intention of going for the draw but went for the win from the off and it paid dividends as they raced into a two goal lead. Then when Greg Parry pulled one back they simply upped a gear and scored two more.
The match was a personal triumph for leading scorer, Andy Williams, who grabbed yet another hat-trick and Youngster Jac Thomas netting the other.
A full report will follow [by Paul Scholes] but on behalf of the league Management, sincere congratulations to LEE POTTER, his managerial staff, the players and everyone connected with Bro and best wishes for the next season in the Gwynedd league.

CHAMPIONSHIP PERFORMANCE SEALS THE QUADRUPLE FOR BRO
Billed as a winner takes all championship decider between the top two title contenders in the Anglesey League before the game, turned out to be a thoroughly deserved victory for unbeaten Bro Goronwy.
From the opening seconds to the final whistle no one could deny Bro's out doing of the hosts, taking the lead in less than a minute and never looking back, scoring again not long after and creating enough chances to have wrapped the league title up before the break.
Llan gained a brief glimpse of hope, pulling a goal back, but were soon put back in their place as further goals saw Bro cruise to victory.
Completing a quadruple and in turn remaining invincible in the league campaign caps a fine season as the promising squad can now move up a league and test themselves again in the Gwynedd division.
A dream start saw Liam Griffiths out beat Steve Smith for pace and find a pin point cross to leave Andy Williams to loop a header over the stricken ex Bro stopper Phil Evans.
Bro were rampant as Jac Thomas slotted past Evans only for the ball to smack back off the post but it was soon to be 2-0 after 14 minutes.
Thomas' pace unplayable setting up Andy Williams to use all his experience to execute a chipped finish from a tight angle.
Thomas went closer still, this time heading onto the cross bar and then sliding a low shot inches wide of the post.
Again and again Williams and Thomas were sent in the clear but a combination of a lack of composure in front of goal and Evans blocks kept the score line from racing away from Pwll.
Llanfair's only meaningful attempt on goal came from long distance, Matt Bartley sending a wicked free kick that Sweetser-Hawkes did well to tip over to safety.
Half-Time 0-2.
Williams carried off where he left off, bursting through only to be blocked last minute followed by not gaining enough of a connection on his far post volley.
It could have been potentially game back on as Greg Parry smashed a thunderous volley into the top corner to peg the score back to 2-1 after only 52 minutes but Bro's back 3 of Connor Lewis, Dylan Jones & Gareth Owen outmuscled any of PG's attacking threat.
Thomas was again denied, Jason Owen back tracking and clearing off the line before Williams completed his hat trick on 65 mins.
After heading home and finishing with a left foot chip he claimed his perfect treble, belting home with his right foot after Thomas squared into his path.
Sam Regan and Rui Da Silva continued to win the battles in the key areas as Andy Swindells showed the composure to produce the guile and skill to create the opportunities.
The champagne could be taken off ice as Thomas got the goal he deserved, Swindells never giving up in chasing down and dispossessing Owen before he could shepherd the ball out of play, setting up the youngster to confidently and deservedly finish for 4-1.
The away win left Bro Goronwy unbeaten all season in their league campaign, only dropping points in a draw way back in August at Bodorgan, as well as triumphs in the Bwlch Car Boot Cup, Elias Cup and Megan Cup to complete a satisfying quadruple.
Full Time 1-4.
