FRIDAY NIGHT IS MUSIC NIGHT...........SO THEY SAY

By McCann Dave

BUT THIS FRIDAY FORGET IT AND GET YOURSELF TO CEMAES

YES,………………….THAT's WHAT THEY SAY [AS NUMBER 8 PUTS HIS RIGHT LEG IN..............THEN TAKE TAKE IT OUT...DO THE HOKY !!!

But this Friday night 17th OF OCTOBER, forget it, instead, get yourself down to School Lane, where Cemaes Bay, unbeaten in any competition this season, face the might of Valley, in a game, which, even at this early stage of the season will have a major bearing on where the Championship title ends up come May 2015...

Never mind if its raining.....................there is enough cover and you will see a great game of football... so all the clairvoyants say

Cemaes have played four league games, winning three and one draw, scoring twelve and conceding just three – two of which were in the drawn game. In the cups [including the NWCFA Junior Cup] they have played three won three, scoring ten against four. They have their recognised hitmen, but the goals but the goals are coming from players in various positions and so are not relying on just the strikers

OUTSIDERS VIEW:
A good mix of youth and experience with a solid defence, behind which they have last season’s Goal--keeper of the Season’. If that’s not enough, goals scored are spread across the team even though they have their recognised strikers who can be relied on to do the buis. A club well run on the field and equally well run off it

A good bet for the title.

Valley, technically, could argue they are unbeaten, and if you take the game over ninety minutes, or one hundred and twenty you would have to agree. The one game they lost being the NWCFA Junior Cup on a penalty shoot-out.
The had been unlucky in the opening fixture programme, and as a consequence have played the least number of games. Scheduled to play `newcomers ‘ Aberforshore, who suddenly `pulled out’ leaving the league with an odd number. Ironically, their second game was against a side that did not want to pull out, but having just appointed a manager and players needing to be registered, the club were allowed a week’s grace. Then, in September, just to add to their difficulties, they had a fixture postponed on the League Managements instructions. So to date they have played two league games, won both and are yet to concede a goal.

In the cups they have played three and won three, scoring thirteen and conceding three . Then there was the NWCFA Junior Cup penalty shoot-out that they lost

OUTSIDERS VIEW:
This Valley squad has quality all the way through and the experience to go with it. They boast strikers capable of winning a game on their own, but like Cemaes, most of the team are weighing in with a goal or two. Well organized on the field of play and equally well organized off. Well worth a ``flutter’ of any bodies money.

A good bet for the title.

If Cemaes is not convenien for you………………………then get to Llangefni instead. Where Bro Goronwy - unbeaten in any league match are the visitors.........more details to follow
