TREARDDUR BAY RESERVES WIN ON THE ROAD AGAIN

AND RETAIN THIRD PLACE

Gaerwen Res. 1 v Trearddur Bay Utd.,Res., 3

Third placed Trearddur Bay Reserves travelled to Gaerwen Reserves knowing they needed to win to keep on the tails of the leaders and in keeping with most of their games this season they produced another good all round performance to add three more points to their tally.

Leading scorer Dave Webb gave them the lead when he was first to react inside the box to tuck away a loose ball and they held the lead at the half-time break
The half-time `cuppa' worked wonders for the hosts who were level just ten minutes into the second half with Alan Williams connecting perfectly with a cross from the right

This stunned the Bay, but they quickly set about restoring their lead with Mike Jones looping the ball over Keeper Phil Evans . Play ebbed from one end to the other as Gaerwen fought to draw level and Trearddur sought to kill the game off.

It was the visitors who suceeded and Gwion Owen, well positioned at the far post, headed home to settle matters and keep them tuxcked in just a point behind the leaders.
