FLYNN GOALS HELP LLANGOED & DISTRICT

By McCann Dave

INTO NEXT ROUND OF WILLIAM HILL ELIAS CUP

In the William Hill sponsored Elias cup, Llangoed & District travelled to Cemaes Bay and proved to be too strong for their hosts especially their clinical finishing as the Bay had created chances and twice struck the wood-work. The visitors however not only created chances but took them as well to run out winners by five goals to one. Dave Flynn led the way, netting twice and was denied a hat-trick when stand-in keeper Sion Hughes saved his spot kick. Craig Jones increased their lead then brothers Dylan and Iwan Williams both added the names to the score list, whilst,Callum Graves and Dave Flynn both cleared off the line to deny Cemaes even a consolation goal and leave a 5-0 score-line.
