With the New Year celebrations behind them, some clubs were still celebrating, Llandegfan Antelope, were celebrating their quarter-final victory over neighbours Menai Bridge in the KonX Wales Dargie Cup. Tigers had led through Gareth Barker, and twice struck the wood work, until Gerwyn Roberts equalizer in the 77 minute, and with a minute remaining Lope were awarded a penalty which Aled Hughes tucked away to earn a semi-final place. Aberffraw were celebrating in the William Hill Elias cup hitting Llangefni Town reserves for six. Iwan Roberts grabbed a hat-trick, Gary Bolton......
In the KonX Wales Anglesey League, Pentraeth were celebrating maintaining their 100% record with win number 13 out of 13 played being a four nil verdict against Llanfairpwll Res – though the visitors were considerably better than the score line suggests. Tom Taylor saw keeper Rhys Owen save his penalty [14] only for Llion Williams to tuck away the rebound. Taylor then headed home a long throw-in [22]. Llion Williams added a third from an excellent ball from Tony Farrar, and Liam McCann fired home the fourth.
Second placed Morawelon finally saw off a determined Trearddur bay reserves side with a 3-1 victory. Asa Thomas volleyed them ahead only for Dave Webb to volley the equalizer, and two goal Barry Haigh made sure [65, 90+2]
Newborough were celebration seven goal blast against Cemaes Bay thanks to a Nathan Moore hat-trick and singles from Phil Boakes, Brian Jones, Gary Winnard and Billy Kennedy. Aaron Jones replied from the penalty
