The one tie that went ahead being the `Match of the day’ clash with leaders Pentraeth visiting second placed Morawelon, saw Pentraeth suffer their first reverse of the season. Despite being reduced to ten men minutes before half-time, Pentraeth played probably some of their best football of the season, Taylor and Haigh each hit hat-tricks but it was Barry Haigh’s that proved decisive. But extra-time saw the ten men bow to their first defeat as Dale Murphy made it four and Haigh completed his hat-trick with the fifth.
