TO DOUBLE FIGURE VICTORY AGAINST BODORGAN JUNIORS

In the KonX Wales Anglesey football league, the unpredictable Llangoed & District played host to basement boys, Bodorgan, and were probably expecting an easy run out, but despite two early goals, the first half proved anything but an easy ride. Iwan Williams had opened the scoring after just eight minutes and when Carl Pritchard hit the second within a minute the crowd sat back expecting a goal rush. Bodorgan, to their credit, shrugged off the set back and began to work their way back into the game, but they couldn’t pull a goal back despite enjoying a fair share of the possession, and just after the half hour they suffered another blow when a neat interchange of passes ended with Dave Flynn adding a third [33] and the half ended 3-0. Bodorgan began the second period in determined mood but like the first they conceded two quick goals and there was no way back. Wayne Thomas struck on fifty minutes and Two minutes later Craig Jones made it five. Llangoed were now ion total control and the goals flowed. On the hour Tom Parry scored the goal of the game, his thundering drive from fully twenty five yards hitting the roof of the net. Five minutes later Wayne Thomas scored his second, and was quickly followed by Carl Pritchard adding his second [70], and Pritchard then completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot [75]. There was still time for Craig Jones to notch his second [80] and Mitchell Jones to get on the score sheet [83] to make it eleven.
