WITH VICTORY AT THIRD PLACED TREARDDUR BAY

Menai Bridge Tigers who have been so involved in cup ties recently had only played eight league games before their visit to third placed Trearddur bay United res., and were looking to make inroads in to the top four by winning all their games in hand.
Despite the excellent run the Bay reserves have been enjoying it was the Tigers who roared into the lead thanks to a Gareth Barker strike. The Leagues leading scorer, Lance Williams then doubled their lead before Ricky Jones delight thinking he had pulled one back was short-lived as he realized it had been ruled out for offside. This set back was made even worse when Lance Williams added his second to make it 3-0 at half-time. The second half saw a big improvement from the hosts but it only brought the one goal from Ricky Jones and the Tigers took the three points.
