FOR MORAWELON IN VICTORY AT CEMAES BAY

In the KonX Wales Anglesey League, second placed , Morawelon travelled to Cemaes Bay looking to pick up maximum points in pursuit of the leaders, and pick- up points they did, as well as boost their goal difference with a 17v 2 victory.

Cemaes going through a transitional period as they look to build a firm base for next season were never going to trouble the Champions who potent strike force was strengthened even more with Asa Thomas back in harness. Thomas celebrated his return last Saturday, after his long lay-off with injury, with a double, and in his second game back Thomas followed it up with a double hat-trick that puts him in joint third place in the league’s Top Scorer. Team-mates, Barry Haigh and Jordon Murphy both grabbed hat-tricks. Mike Murphy managed one less with a brace whilst, Ryan Roberts, Mark Williams, Ricky Lavelle all got their names on the score sheet. Tim Williams scored both the Cemaes goals
